Thames Reach is a leading London homeless charity supporting vulnerable people across the capital. Whatever their background or situation, we're here to help those facing homelessness in London.
Last year, 13,231 people slept rough in London. We’re out on London’s streets every day and night – supporting people across the capital to escape rough sleeping for good.
Every time our teams help someone keep their home, or get and stay off the streets, we see the difference our work can make.
We don’t stand at the sidelines, telling decision makers what they’re doing wrong. We work with government and local authorities to make things better. Our team is part of the solution: from our outreach workers who help people on the streets to our research and reports that helps shape government policy.
Today, Thames Reach runs homelessness services for local authorities in and around London, working with other specialist organisations from mental health to employment advice.
We’re here to get people the support they need, at the right time, for as long as they need us. We believe this is a fight we can win – but we can’t do it alone. Together we can end rough sleeping in London.

Our Opportunities
Our Lambeth Street Engagement Team works flexibly to identify individuals engaging in a chaotic street lifestyle, building positive relationships and offering support in treatment services. The team carries out weekday shifts from 8 am to 2 pm.
This role works alongside the Tenancy Sustainment Team, which helps former rough sleepers to manage the transition away from the street and provides tailored support to help them live independently.
The team at Hounslow Reach supports people in the London Borough of Hounslow who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, helping them to stabilise their situation through advice, advocacy and one-to-one support.
